Do I Need to Be Home During a Move-In or Move-Out Cleaning?
No. You do not need to be at the property during your cleaning. As long as our cleaning team has a secure way to enter, you can continue packing, moving, working, or handling your closing. Access can be provided through a lockbox, door code, key, or another prearranged method.
Do Water and Electricity Need to Be On for Move-Out Cleaning?
Yes. The property must have running water and working electricity during the cleaning so our cleaning professionals can properly clean the home and use the equipment needed for the job.
Does the Home Need to Be Empty for Move-Out Cleaning?
For the best results, yes. Move-out cleaning is designed for an empty or fully vacated home. Removing furniture, boxes, and personal belongings gives our cleaners better access to floors, baseboards, cabinets, closets, and other areas that may have been covered.
How Far in Advance Should I Book a Move-Out Cleaning?
We recommend booking your move-out cleaning 1–2 weeks in advance when possible, especially around weekends, month-end, and busy moving periods. Need cleaning sooner? CR Maids may have same-day or short-notice availability, so it is still worth checking your date.
Do You Clean Inside Cabinets and Drawers?
Yes. Inside empty cabinets and drawers are included with move-in and move-out cleaning.
Do You Clean Inside Appliances?
The microwave interior is included. Inside the oven, refrigerator, and freezer can be added to your cleaning.
Are Windows Included in Move-Out Cleaning?
Window cleaning is available as an additional service.
Can You Provide a Move-Out Cleaning Receipt?
Yes. A receipt can be provided for your move-out cleaning.
Can I Book a Last-Minute Move-Out Cleaning?
