No, you do not have to be home during your cleaning. However, when possible, we recommend reviewing the completed work before your cleaning professional leaves to make sure everything looks amazing and any questions can be addressed promptly.
We place an authorization hold on your card for the estimated total at the time of booking if your appointment is within six days. For appointments booked further in advance, the hold is placed six days before your scheduled cleaning. Your card is charged after the cleaning is completed.
When you schedule recurring cleaning, we do our best to pair you with the same cleaning professional whenever possible. We have also found value in occasionally having another professional clean your home, as a fresh pair of eyes may notice areas that would benefit from additional attention.
You may cancel or reschedule your cleaning at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations made within 48 hours are subject to a fee equal to 25% of the scheduled service. Same-day cancellations are charged the full service amount.
Yes, pets may remain home during the cleaning. However, we recommend keeping them safely secured in their crates or in a separate room, as unfamiliar people, vacuum cleaners and other loud noises can sometimes frighten them. This helps keep your pets comfortable and allows our cleaning professionals to work safely and efficiently.
We may take before-and-after pictures to document the condition of the space, confirm the services completed and support our quality-control process. The photos also help our customer support team review and resolve any questions or concerns about the cleaning.
